About Us
Mission Statement
Ismaili Troop 797, part of Scouting America, is dedicated to molding young men into leaders of their communities. The troop emphasizes academic excellence, character development, and the importance of strong moral and ethical values.
The mission of Scouting America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.
Scout Oath
On my honor I will do my best to do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law; to help other people at all times; to keep myself physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight.
Scout Law
A Scout is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and reverent.
Ismaili Troop 797 aims to provide a scouting program focused on youth development, leadership, and nurturing the moral and ethical fiber of its members. The program creates a fun yet educational environment where scouts, leaders, and parents collaborate to instill the basic principles of Islam through activities and skills designed by Scouting America and the Aga Khan Youth and Sports Board, USA.
